Steve first started taking photos on a his Grandfather’s film camera at the age of 11, and has been hooked on photography ever since! An electronic engineer by training, Steve designed cellular phones for Nokia for many years, before realising professional photography was his calling. He moved from the UK to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2004 and setup Provo Pictures the following year. Although best known for his luxury resort and residential photography, Steve engages in a wide range of photographic assignments, both locally and internationally. Steve is a customer service fanatic, and his trademarks are an almost obsessive eye for detail (ask his wife!), and producing clean uncluttered compositions.
His work has been widely featured locally, as well as in international publications such as the New York Times, The Robb Report, and Caribbean Travel and Leisure. His photographs have also served as the covers for a number of books.
